Northlayers — Terms & Conditions

By uploading a CAD file to Northlayers and submitting an order, you agree to the following terms.

1. CAD ownership

You represent that you own or have authorisation to share the geometry you upload. Northlayers will not redistribute, sub-license, or use your CAD for any purpose other than fulfilling your order.

2. Pricing

Quoted prices are calibrated estimates based on the geometry you upload and the print settings you select. Prices are confirmed by an engineer within one business day. We may revise the price upward if your part has DFM issues that meaningfully change the print effort; you will be notified before payment.

3. Lead times

Lead times are best-effort and exclude weekends, holidays, and any time spent waiting for clarification on the order. We will reach out within one business day of submission.

4. Payment

Payment is processed via Stripe. We charge once your order is approved by an engineer. Your card is not charged at submission.

5. Refunds & cancellation

You can self-cancel before engineer approval at no charge. Once production has started, refunds are at our discretion and pro-rated to the work already done.

6. Quality

Every part is visually inspected and dimensionally spot-checked on critical features before shipment. If a part does not match the quote's specifications, we will reprint or refund — your choice.

7. Limitation of liability

Northlayers' liability is limited to the price of the order. We are not responsible for downstream consequences of using a 3D-printed part.
