Fused Deposition Modeling

In-house · IDEX dual-extruder · 500 mm cubed

Layer-by-layer extrusion of engineering thermoplastics in a 500 mm-cubed envelope. Our workhorse for functional prototypes, brackets, fixtures, and short-run production. IDEX cells run independent dual extruders — soluble supports, two-material assemblies, plus copy mode (two parts at once) and mirror mode (left/right pairs in a single print).

Best for

Functional prototypes, jigs and fixtures, end-use brackets, short-run production, large single-piece parts.

Not the right call for

Watertight resolution, optical-quality surfaces, parts under 0.5 mm wall thickness.

Resin / SLA / DLP

In-house · UV-cured photopolymer

Photopolymer cured layer-by-layer with UV. The right call when surface finish, fine features, or geometric fidelity matter more than mechanical durability. Engineering resins available for snap-fits, heat resistance, and elastomer behavior.

Best for

Fine-detail prototypes, presentation models, dental/medical fixtures, casting masters.

Not the right call for

Long-term outdoor use, high-impact parts, parts under sustained UV.

Sub-millimeter capture of physical parts, then reconstructed as parametric CAD ready for modification or remanufacture. The right tool for legacy components, worn assemblies, or undocumented parts you need to reproduce.

Legacy / obsolete part replacement, dimensional verification, worn part recovery.

Not the right call for

Highly reflective, transparent, or sub-millimeter detail surfaces without prep.
